It’s a “Goodyear, NewYear” for artisan and designer George Hollander. The U.S. Virgin Islands-based artist made this incredible light sculpture for the holiday season by stacking nine tires and topping them off with a plexiglass spiked dome fashioned from half a marine bouy. Strings of christmas lights are wrapped around the piece, and the core of the sculpture is illuminated by ten “daylight” fluorescent bulbs.
