Designed Good is a new online community that curates the best in design and social good. The new website hand-selects and sells clothing, artwork, gear, gadgets, and accessories, and provides buyers with the stories about how they’re making a difference; that is, they’re turning the items people wear and put in their homes into conversation starters. Co-founded by three graduates of Williams College, Designed Good has a thought that social responsibility and good design can intersect in one interesting place – and that place doesn’t have to be exclusive or invitation-only. The founders want everyone to feel welcome to hang out and share thoughts through their website; signing up is free, and membership is immediate once you provide your e-mail address.
