NTT Docomo‘s new advertisement for the TOUCH WOOD smart phone features a delightful wooden xylophone in the forest and is an uplifting departure from other images coming out of Japan. TOUCH WOOD cell phones, which we’ve written about before, are made from scrap wood, so it makes sense that this ad should use a tree-filled backdrop. Check out the giant xylophone in action in the video above.
The company has definitely outdone themselves to show off the phone’s surprising resistance to bugs, mildew, and water thanks to three-dimension compression technology. The pebble-like phones were developed in conjunction with Sharp, Olympus, and a reforestation project called “more trees.”
