I'm currently conducting a Masters of Landscape Architecture, with the aim of designing a module on Biophilic Design to be taught as part of landscape architecture university courses. This course would be a big help to my research.

In order to turn sustainable options into solutions, we need to look to nature for wisdom. Having attended a presentation by Biomimicry South Africa, I believe all business should return to Nature's roots in order to gain wings.

I'd love to take this course because nature is beautiful and functional, and alluding to its sage processes in a way that benefits us, its inhabitants, while at the same time being aesthetically pleasing and regenerative, would be favorable to the design profession I am a part of.

What is your favorite kind of lighting? Firelight? A moonlit night? Sunrise or sunset? Probably not the fluorescent light in your office. As an architectural lighting designer, I realize I have a lot to learn from the natural world. I strive to mimic natural light but the tools at my disposal are limited. I also try to illuminate spaces without wasting energy. I believe the answers to many of our challenges are hidden in plain sight in the world around us. I just need the inspiration to stop and look around...before I miss it.

I am studying bionic engineering and I would love to take this course because it would be really helpful to improve my knowledge about biomimicry design and apply it for engineering development.

My son's best friend just asked me to be their band manager. A daunting task, but one that I am eager to accept. The band's name is Modern Leaves. The name encompasses both nature and it's evolution into technology. What better way to design cool and thought-provoking merchandise than through design tips from biomimicry? I'd love to give inhabitat a credit in the cd liner notes!

This course would be a great start to the career that I envision for myself. I graduated recently with a bachelor's degree in Biology and I want to go back to school and pursue the field of Sustainability with the use of Biomimicry. It has become my passion, and is exactly what I want to go to school for.

Givme, Givme...Givme.
The preceding used biomimicry of the Myna bird to complete the requirements of this givaway. It is obvious that I am in need of more education on this subject and this course would be just the ticket.

I would love to learn about applying biomimicry to my design business. I work closely with 100% merino and organic cotton and would love to explore more avenues. Sounds exciting!

As an ecologist now working in the built environment sector (due to begin a phD), this course seems an ideal connection between my naturally-underpinned philosophical background and my future delivery of energy reduction and well being improvements to enhance the design of our future living environs

As an architect, this is a field of study that I would love to more about since it will be vital in pushing design past the point of sustainable building and begin creating regenerative environmental systems.

As a fine artist and designer, I'm always looking for inspiration on how to make not only my art but the world a better place. This training would help me better understand the natural world and how I can design using the tenets of biomimicry. Thank you for the opportunity Your site gives amazing information!

I'm a student doing a specialization in human environment with a minor in ecology. I'm interested in the intersection and overlap of the built environment and the natural one. Especially in how it can improve our day to day life and the planet we inhabit.

I am a designer returning to school, studying architecture, in my 40's. My motivations were pure in attempting this-saving the world from global warming and ugly houses- but Man!- these kids are competitive! Please, please, pleeeeease give the old dude something cool to talk about with my new peers and I promise I'll tell'em where I got it!
