UK designers Soner Ozenc and John Wischhusen charmed visitors to London’s Designersblock with this El Flutter collection of glowing butterfly nighlights. The El FLutter Night Light is a safe, low-energy light made from electroluminescent fabric. El Flutter emits a soft diffused glow from its wings, and can be hung anywhere (ceiling or wall) – creating a cute, cheerful lighting element in any interior. Great for a kids room, I imagine.

Soner Ozenc is a Turkish born, London-based designer who makes innovative and interactive home wares using electro luminsecent technology. In addition to the El Flutter, Ozenc has a glowing Luminescent Prayer Rug and a Time Curtain (a curtain that lights up and tells time like a clock), among many other glowing designs.

Hello there! After seeing these beautiful lights here, I have gotten them into stock at my store in Los Angeles. Our website won’t be up for e-commerce until the beginning of December, but we can certainly do a telephone order for anyone interested in purchasing one or more of these fabulous lights. Contact Juvie at 323.667.0344; info@juvieshop.com.

I would like to purchase as well. But do they come in red? Blue light disturbs natural sleep patterns while red does not.

Please send information on where I can purchase.

So beautiful but I’ll wait until they figure out how to light without the cord.

Those are adorable, but … is there any way to actually buy them?

This is amazing and I feel almost like Alice in Wonderland just looking at it. Artistic form and function. What a joy it would bring to little ones, grown-ups and even grand parents. Are these for sale and if so how are they priced?
