yes I now this is heretic to write something like this about Google but I guess I will become one of the first ones burned on a stake after that religion has gotten strong enough

Leaving the home without turning the lights off ? I like (and work in) the technology, I have my own "smart" house. But leaving the lights on... it's like leaving the garage open.
Use your brain and don't become a slave of the technology. Technology is a tool, not a way to become stupid...

Google is innovative for sure; I think this may add fuel to the fire for those concerned that Google can access everything about you ;)....however, I love the idea that this can be a such a green initiative; all the times you leave the house without turning out the lights and remember later, etc. This would allow you to access your energy burning appliances and systems from outside the home, giving you control over your space even when you are gone, and adjusting things accordingly. Now, if we could get an app for the iPhone...

Wow, this is great initiative by Google. Now the things like home appliances, bulbs, led etc. will be controlled by smart phones.Always wanted to part of such communities where people can share the ideas in front of big players. :)
