Ian Wright left the electric car maker he helped found — Tesla — to create a company that builds high performance electric and hybrid race car technology. The result? His X1 electric racecar prototype, created by his startup Wrightspeed, is fast enough to whiz by Tesla Roadsters on a racetrack.
