+House has a rectangular form that is nestled into the southern slope so that the house is virtually indistinguishable from the landscape when viewed from above. Along with small skylights , a 4.3 meter stretch of south-facing glazing brings natural light indoors, opening up views of the bucolic waterfront scene.
Lift-and-slide doors and ample decking create an almost seamless relationship between the interior and exterior, which is further emphasized by cedar boards that extend from the roof to the exterior soffit . Along with passive solar gain , a small fireplace keeps the home warm during the winter months, while the gently-furnished open plan living area and kitchen ensures maximum bonding time between the residents.
