Cardboard Samurai Suzumi Bachi Halloween Costume by Callie Williams
Callie Williams created this amazing homemade samurai costume for her son, who dreamt up its name (Samurai Suzumi Bachi) and color scheme. Most of the props and armor were made out of paper (paper clay, paper pulp, cereal boxes and paper mache), and the clothes were thrifted. The neck piece was made from fabric scraps, and part of the helmet was made from a lamp shade. The breast plate and the shin guards were made out of scrap Formica, and the toy katanas were borrowed from a friend.HOW TO MAKE THIS COSTUME
