Character 9 Halloween Costume from Tim Burton's Movie '9' by Benjoseph Manibog
Benjoseph Manibog's green Halloween costume was based off of "Character 9" from Tim Burton's animated film "9". The entire costume is made from paper-mache, newspaper, cardboard, acrylic, light plaster, PVC pipe, led lights, string lights, foam sheets and burlap rice bags. The hands, head and light bulb staff are created from cardboard and acrylic which makes the costume light and easy to carry.HOW TO MAKE THIS COSTUME
Step 1:
Create a cardboard construction and make a paper mache base for the head and fingers to build on top of.Step 2:
Add details with plaster, lights and paint.Step 3:
Sew a bodysuit and assemble the pieces together with hot glue.

Just goes to show that if you can sew, you can be just about anything for Halloween! Nice job!
Haha… Sewing was probably the hardest part for me.. I’m more comfortable building 3D constructions.. Check my Optimus Prime Costume from Cardboard boxes..

costume master! what was your backup idea for 2011?
Thanks for the comments.. My backup costume Idea was probably going to be a Toy Story Green Army Man, Edward ScissorHands, or Iron Giant
