Floating House from Pixar's "UP" Costume by Abby Freeman
This year for Halloween Abby Freeman and her boyfriend wanted to create something BIG, FUN and EXCITING that would stand out amongst a large crowd. They're both architecture interns that do not have the money to invest in fancy expensive costumes, but they really craved the chance to put their creative juices in motion, so they decided to be the floating house from Pixar's animated film, "UP"! They created the incredible costume out of leftover supplies from their old 'studio' days in college - cardboard, chipboard, paint, and Elmer's glue. The results are truly extraordinary.
