Forget You - Cee Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow by Brigitte Bose

In February of 2011 at the 53rd Grammy Awards, Cee Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow performed Cee Lo's song "Forget You." Cee Lo performed in an elaborate bird costume reminiscent of Elton John's getup for his rendition of Crocodile Rock on Sesame Street. Gwyneth stunned in a black jumpsuit and fuchsia feather earrings. For Halloween Brigitte Bose recreated their memorable look.

HOW TO MAKE THIS COSTUME

Step 1:

For the Cee Lo costume sew eleven red feather boas on to an oversized red sweatshirt.

Step 2:

Paint wooden dowels red, blue and yellow, and hot glue dozens of feathers (including ostrich and pheasant) to a dowels to create the tail.

Step 3:

Punch holes and add grommets to the inside of a red backpack, then stick the dowels through the holes into a piece of floral foam and position the tail feather into an impressive fan.

Step 4:

Use hot glue to add feathers onto the outside of the backpack and sweatshirt to match Cee Lo's look.
