Luminous Box Jellyfish Halloween Costume by Carrie Ortiz
Carrie Ortiz's costume for Halloween was this gorgeous glow in the dark jellyfish made from items she found lying around the house. Carrie loves jellyfish and she decided to express her fascination with them by becoming one for a night.HOW TO MAKE THIS COSTUME
Step 1:
Find a large plastic salad bowl, a few strands of battery operated lights, ribbons, a bike helmet, and a large sheet of iridescent cellophane.Step 2:
Glue the color changing lights inside the clear salad bowl, but put the battery switch outside of the bowl so you can turn it on.Step 3:
Cut and attach the iridescent cellophane to the salad bowl and attach it to the helmet.Step 4:
Lastly, attach the light-up ribbons to the cellophane to serve as tentacles. If you like you can carry a bubble gun for dramatic effect.

How do you attach the salad bowl to the bike helmet?
The salad bowl has a lid that i glued to the bike helmut. I have a couple in my office if you live in the NY metro area.
