Magically Creepy Unicorn Halloween Costume by K. Jones

K. Jones wanted to create a unicorn costume that could "inspire wondrous happiness....or nightmares...or pity." A project he started 11 months ago, Jones' costume has plenty of hidden surprises and highlights; confetti shoots out the nose, LEDs in the horns and hair, a sweet fanny pack, and airbrushed abs for that tough unicorn look. He hopes his costume inspires a laugh or a cringe.

Step 1:

Glue foam into rough shape and carve/sculpt.

Step 2:

Upholster the head, add LED lights, airbrush features, create giant wig/mane, paint eyes.

Step 3:

Mount confetti launchers in the nose and a can of air that is turned upside down to shoot fog out the nose.

Step 4:

Accessorize by sewing fur cuffs, making cardboard hoofs, covering a fanny pack in fur, and airbrushing tough abs.
