Raija Clar's mail order bride costume “wedding dress” is made from strips of shipping materials with stickers from UPS, FedEx, Handle with Care, Express Mail etc. The “veil” is made of soft packing material with stamps glued onto it and the necklace and bracelet are made of packing peanuts used for shipping fragile items. She's also wearing a shipping envelope “Packing List Enclosed” necklace listing following items: 1. Mail Order Bride 2. Dictionary and 3. Passport. HA-larious!

HOW TO MAKE THIS COSTUME

Step 1:

Cut a long shipping envelope used for shipping drawings into strips and glue them on a “belt” to make a skirt.

Step 2:

Glue sheet of soft packing material on a tiara and decorate with stamps.

Step 3:

String together packing peanuts to make necklace and bracelet using elastic string.

Step 4:

Add a string onto the shipping envelope.
