Rebecca Moreschi dreamt of creating a peacock costume for the past 3 years - and she finally decided 2012 was the time to bring it to life! Her beautiful costume unfurls in a flourish of feathers attached to a set of recycled wood blinds, and the fanned tail can be worn up or down.

HOW TO MAKE THIS COSTUME

Step 1:

Use a hot glue gun to attach peacock feathers to a piece of fabric.

Step 2:

Attach the feathered fabric piece to a set of 2" wood blinds for support.

Step 3:

Use Velcro to attach the feather fan onto a belt.

Step 4:

Use clear bra straps and snaps to hold the fan up. Add a painted cardboard nose and viola!
