Shrimp Nigiri Sushi Roll Costume by Erin Poling
This year Erin Poling wanted to dress up like a shrimp nigiri sushi roll. She used packing peanuts for the rice, spray painted a foam mattress pad for the shrimp, used ribbon for the seaweed wrap, and felt for the ginger and wasabi headpiece. Her costume was easy to move in, comfortable, warm and a great conversation starter!

What a great way to reuse an old foam mattress pad! Pretty sure I have one of those stuffed in the back of my closet…
