Tesco Plastic Bag Warrior Princess Halloween Costume by Ria Burns
Ria Burns is not entirely sure how her Tesco Warrior Princess costume idea came about, but it had something to do with her adopted middle name, ‘Xena’, given to her by schoolfriends. She also had a massive collection of plastic bags from the supermarket that she wanted to put to a better use and so the Tesco Warrior Princess costume was born!HOW TO MAKE THIS COSTUME
Step 1: Cut about 15 plastic bags into yarn strips and knit into a bodice/corset style. Then make the armbands.
Step 2: Attach bag strips to the bodice and hand sew on in layers to construct the skirt.
Step 3: Build breastplates out of yarn left over from over knitting projects.
Step 4: Accessorize with a tacky sword made from cardboard and acrylic paint.
