Umbrell-ie-fish Halloween Costume by Beth Gallagher
Beth Gallagher created this elusive and mystical green Halloween costume out of a clear umbrella, bubble wrap, ribbon, and battery powered lights. Dubbed the Umbrell-ie-fish, it is interactive too: kids can pop its bubbles!HOW TO MAKE THIS COSTUME
Step 1:
Tape the battery-operated lights to the edge of the bubble umbrella and secure the battery pack to the edge.
Step 2:
Cut long strips (various sizes) of bubble wrap and glittery ribbon and tape them to the spokes and plastic of the bubble umbrella.
Step 3:
Tape both sides of a square of bubble wrap around the lights to create the edge of the Umbrell-ie-fish.
Step 4:
Light up and enjoy! Afterwards, use the umbrella to keep you dry, the bubble wrap to pack, store or mail something, the lights for decoration, and the ribbon to wrap presents!
