Greenhamar: Eco Oasis Pops up in a Public Square in Hamar, Norway

This past weekend Spanish architecture firm Ecosistema Urbano [4] teamed up with the VEA school of gardening to launch Greenhamar [5] – a 24-hour event focused on greening a public square in Hamar, Norway. The event featured homemade mushroom soup, bike-powered smoothies, and amazing pop-up garden installations. Greenhamar was part of dreamhamar [6], a participatory project that enables citizens to reclaim public spaces by participating in the online and on-site workshops.
