There’s something nostalgic about old kerosene lamps that evokes thoughts of camping around a cozy fire – until you remind yourself of all of the respiratory problems the toxic fumes can give you. Well designer Lee Leong Chye of the Little Thoughts Group has reworked the iconic light fixture with all of the rustic goodness and none of the yucky smoke. The resulting lantern is made of wood and its LED bulb is powered by the motion of cranking a pump in and out, so it’s eco-friendly too!
