Inhabitat’s Green Halloween Costume Contest is underway for 2014. To help you get in the spirit of things, we’re revisiting some of our past contest favorites, along with all their handy DIY instructions. Rob Miller’s Han Solo stuck in carbonite was a huge hit in 2011. This recreation of the iconic Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi image simply uses newspapers stuffed in an old coat, which are then stapled onto cardboard and painted silver. Too easy!
