inhabitat, inhabitat team, inhabitat thanksgving, happy thanksgiving from inhabiatat, rebecca paulREBECCA, Communications Manager: This year I am especially thankful for the fact that I am surrounded by wonderfully talented, hilarious and intelligent people (yes they are all that amazing), who challenge what I know on a daily basis. With life being so unpredictable it’s their presence that makes it all worth while. I’m also thankful for the pizza place that just opened across the street from my Brooklyn apartment.

My oh-so amusing, interesting, intelligent, and inspiring family, friends and coworkers (go team!); 2. The opportunity to explore, learn and write about things I love on a daily basis and get paid for it; and 3. Those giant bags of tiny clementines that always make their appearance around this time of year at Trader Joe’s. The days really just get better and better, and sometimes I just can’t believe how lucky I am. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

People are starting to regularly question the quality and ethics behind how everything is made, from food to clothing, and I hope this tide of awareness causes a sea of change in the marketplace and in the way things are produced. On a personal note, I am most grateful for the birth of my healthy and adorable son in August, and for our darling 3 year-old, who is the best teacher we could ever ask for when it comes to living a compassionate life.

I’m happy to be both an artist and a writer, both passions of mine, and actually get paid for both. I’m stoked to have a ton of active, interesting and loving friends who are always down to go play and do something fun. And finally, I appreciate all of my family who have always supported and encouraged me in my decisions and my life.
