EVELYN, Los Angeles Editor: This year I’m thankful to have enough money in my pocket to share a Thanksgiving feast with friends. I’m thankful for my creative friends and their countless, wonderful ideas to turn something old into something radically unique and totally gift worthy. And I’m thankful for all those in the Inhabitat community that push us to make sure we’re posting is the latest and greatest in sustainable design. Thank you readers!!!

LEA, Contributing Writer: I’m thankful for my dog, whose excitement for nature reminds me everyday to stop and smell the roses…and trees, and fallen leaves, and sticks, and rocks, and the neighbor’s fence. Oh so many things to pay attention to outdoors!

JULIE, Inhabitots Editor: I’m grateful for my husband-to-be who makes every day that much better, and for the sure-to-be-wonderful little wedding we’re planning that’s only 6 months away. I’m thankful for every day I get to take my dog Leo to the neighborhood park and watch the seasons change beautifully before my eyes. And I’m also grateful for all the little things that make my world go round — good friends, amazing family, cupcakes, sunshine, inspiring work, and IntenSati, which keeps gratitude in my heart on the 364 days of the year that are not Thanksgiving.

FRIDA, Contributing Writer: Apart from what’s right in front of me for which I am thankful everyday – like a fantastic and loving fiancée, waking up in a city that cares about me and being healthy – I would like to give special thanks this day to the fact that I have an education and am able to live off of doing what I love. I’m thankful for being able to inspire and affect people with my words on different levels, especially in a design world seemingly oriented around glossy surfaces and shallow ideologies with an ‘accepting’ rather than ‘questioning’ attitude. Thanks for listening.

Happy Turkey Day!
I would like to thank you all for maintaining such an awesome website. It’s great to have a site where I can read how people are making the world a better and beautiful place.
