DIANE, Architecture and Design Editor: While I often find myself griping about things that I don't have, I rarely take the time to say thanks for all the things that I do. I'm thankful first and foremost for my family who are always there for me and support me no matter how wacky and unconventional my life decisions are. I'm thankful for my two best friends in Italy and my amazing friends here in New York who constantly inspire me to do more, challenge my way of thinking, spark my creativity, and who are always around to just throw a beer - or five - back when the days just feel too long. I'm thankful to have such an incredible job that not only allows me to discover new, eye-opening and beautiful things each day, but gives me the freedom to pursue my own interests at will. Working for Inhabitat has also taught me how to live a more sustainable and austere life, and I'm much happier because of it. I'm also extremely thankful for the opportunity to have worked from Argentina for two months earlier this year. Not only did I get the experience of living in yet another country, but I made some amazing friends who welcomed me into their lives and made me feel like I really belonged there -- even though my Spanish is terrible!
