Here’s one concept car that looks likely to hit the production mainline in the near future. Expanding its leading line of “green” sports cars, Honda recently unveiled this OSM (Open Study Model) at the British International Motor Show last week. The sporty two-seat convertible is reminiscent of the current S2000 line and joined the confirmed-for-production CR-Z sports Hybrid and the FCX Clarity at the show.

*Sigh*.. I tired the term low emissions… where are the NO emissions vehicles???
I know everyone says there are tech hurdles to get over… but are the makers really trying as hard as possible… I mean look at the EV1….
The congress needs to use the big stick and set a flat out ultimatum…
50% ZEV in 5 years or you must stop sale of autos within the USA….
That’s just my two cents
And that is about all it\\\’s worth. All of these conspiracy loonies carping about the EV-1. Get over it. The hybrids we have today are the best mass production can handle right now. Tomorrow will bring about better vehicles.
But your suggestions are juvenile, and devoid of rationality.
This is great i hope that anything that could make this world better is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MAXTOLL,
“The hybrids we have today are the best mass production can handle right now. Tomorrow will bring about better vehicles.”
sorry but your statement is a little off… there are cars (not even hybrids) in europe and japan right now that have the same emission standards (or better) and get way better gas mileage than the “almighty” prius. But people
that live in the U.S. can’t get access to these vehicles because our EPA standards are crooked… the Toyota Aygo is a great example… 60+ MPG or better (if you’re a hypermiler).. the technology is here today, but it’s not available because washington would lose it’s a#s!
