Interesting indeed. Since pantyhose are made from nylon and spandex which are both petroleum-based compounds. As a wise Vulcan will be quoted as saying in the distant future, “Fascinating.”

Please! Dim…Give me a break!! I\’m all for being anti0greed, but, come on! They are donating their used pantyhiose to help clean up the oil!! If that helps…GREAT!! Why would anyone have a problem with that? There is a point where one can become too cynical! Pantyhose makes their legs look great…then, whe
n they have runs in them or whatever, they donate them to help clean up the oil spill. Wow!! What a crime!!

I own a salon that is participating in this cause…if the hair I sweep up and throw away could benefit the oil spill, why not collect it? Why not participate in a state wide cut-a-thon to help raise money? Yes of course I would love to get new business from partipating but it is not a selfish thing…If a large restaurant chain like Hooters participates it will also help awareness.

I think it’s really sad to see companies trying to capatalize on tradgedy. of course i would expect nothing less from a company like Hooters that is only skin deep and has no substance.
next we’ll see them come out with a pin up calender under the pretence of “donating the proceeds”.
