Given that the average mileage of an alternative energy vehicle [1] is around 60 miles, are electric vehicles a reasonable choice for the average person? This infographic by Sixt [2]¬†draws attention to some of the practical aspects of green motoring in the U.S. based on the number of alternative energy stations [3] within each state. It looks as though if you mostly run errands, a lack of ‘pumps’ shouldn’t much of an issue. However, if you live in one of the less equipped states you may be simply chained within a 30 mile radius of the pump. What do you think? Do you live in one of the greener states?
