Last week’s collapse of the Rana Plaza garment factory in Bangladesh has shone a bright light on working conditions that we have known for years are not sustainable. More than 300 people have died so that we can purchase cheap clothing, and families are mourning their devastating loss. What can we do to ensure that we are no longer supporting businesses that fail to pay their workers a decent wage or provide a healthy working environment?
