Looking for a fun holiday-themed DIY project to work on with your little ones? Try making a unique snow globe using a recycled mason jar and some other household supplies. All you need is a jar from your recycling bin, some plastic (preferably holiday-themed) toys, and a hot glue gun. For the snow, we’ve found that hole-punched aluminum foil gives the globe a nice sparkle. Click through for a complete tutorial.

    Fun project! I tried it out with my niece, and now I think we’re running out of jars! We’ve made Spongebob, Little Mermaid and other toys into Snow Globes which she is going to give to her friends for Christmas. She’s really into it. Thanks a lot for the tutorial! Cheers!
