I-Beam Design Playfully Renovates a New York City Apartment Using 20,000 Legos

Looking for some inspiration to renovation their 1,500-square-foot New York City apartment for them and their 10-year-old son, Melissa Marks and Vicente Caride, called in I-Beam Design [5] for help, and with the help of LEGO master Sean Kenney [6] they came up with this radical, pixelated design scheme. Together, they built a new stair railing and wall out of 20,000 LEGO [7] bricks, which took Kenney and his team about two weeks to complete. Click through to see the complete slideshow!
