The discourse on global warming at 50graus.org is delivered in poignant actions, words and visual communication about our fears, understanding and hopes for the planet. One installation is such an eloquent voice in the effort to draw awareness to climate change that we, like many others, had to stop and take notice. Ice Penguins is an engaging display of one of the icons of a changing world. These frozen counterparts of the seabirds that have captured the attention of concerned global citizens were placed in a public square in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to alert people to global warming.

Very clever. I like this idea.
Such a thoughtful installation! I do hope that countries around the world wake up to the peril of global warming and work collaboratively to bring about a change. The climate change around the world in the last year or two is an ealy warning sign.
reduce your carbon footprint. it’s that sipmle.
meanwhile this is a beautiful, poignant installation.
Absolutely compelling! What a display. Most ppl need visuals and this is one distinct way to arouse awareness. I think more public and community squares should catch on to this and display similiar messages with ice sculptures such as this.
