The IMISS Collection, by Fabrizia Zorzenon Workshop for 1159, is a new range of furniture and accessories made entirely from recycled, corrugated cardboard. While corrugated cardboard might seem like a less-than-sightly choice for a furniture designer, the creatives at the Fabrizia Zorzenon Workshop found a fantastic way to turn its rough aesthetic into a beautiful and modern collection that also boats exceptional durability!

The IMISS also stacks up from an environmental perspective, putting to good use material usually consigned to waste. The designs were inspired by shapes and colors found within the material itself, and also by the harmonious lines of modernist design icons like the Mies Van Der Rohe‘s Barcelona Chair.

IMISS will be on show at this year’s Milan Furniture Fair.
