Energy-sucking 60-watt incandescent light bulbs [4] are still found in homes around the world, however there a variety of light bulbs out there that last longer, consume less energy, and provide up to 95% of the light output. Considering the fact that incandescent bulbs will be phased out in the near future (January 2014 [5], to be exact), it’s time to consider replacing them with efficient alternatives.
