Sometime today, billionaire entrepreneur and inventor Elon Musk is expected to unveil the Alpha design of the Hyperloop, a high-speed train that promises travel at twice the speed of a commercial aircraft, transporting passengers from Los Angeles to San Francisco in just 30 minutes. Though Musk has been tight-lipped about the mechanics and design of the new system, plenty of enthusiasts across the web (including Inhabitat’s Gemeda Beker) have been offering up their own guesses as to how this incredible 600 mph super train is supposed to work. The latest to add their two cents are the folks over at Go Compare who sent us this awesome infographic breaking down not only how the Hyperloop might function, but some of the key factors that will play into its success—and maybe even its failure. Hit the jump to see the complete infographic, and get schooled on what could one day be the world’s 5th form of transportation!

We need new, better public transportation, yes. But we should exclude cons from the old ones and pros that we so desperate must have to reduce environmental damage and costs for accidents and band functions. In the future we should demand to travel whenever we need, from one place to another without switching cabins. Folkbanan can reduce more than half of all cars, all domestic flights and all expensive high speed trains. It\\\’s cheap and flexible to build and use and it cause no accidents at all, even when it\\\’s fully covering the land. Kids, elderly and handicapped persons as well as people with allergies or much luggage, bikes, canoes a s o can easily use Folkbanan – when it\\\’s here.
