InstantFit is a new breakthrough for Philips, enabling LED tube lamps to be fitted quickly and easily to existing light fittings in just seconds. The ease of installation underpins the business case for this new technology as, prior to ‘InstantFit’ technology, installing LED tubes involved changing the entire fitting. An average supermarket, for example, can now switch to LED lighting in less than 4 days instead of 4 weeks.
