Every year the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy publishes a report revealing the most energy efficient countries in the world. The council looks at the 16 biggest economies and ranks them in terms of transportation, industry, building and national efforts to cut costs. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the US ranks close to the bottom at number 13, while super efficient Germany took the stop slot. Irish energy supplier Jones Oil created an infographic with tons of interesting information about the report – including the reason why China managed to grab the fourth slot in the rankings.
