firstly lets look at a 60w bulb cost to run per day for 8 hours
average price per Kwh is 30c thats 30c per 1000w so thats 17h lets say 2 days per Kwh total yearly cost $54
now lets do the same for a 10w Led which will be $9 per year but to get the same coverage of light you need 3 led’s so thats $27 a saving of $27 per year per bulb Average house runs 6 standard bulbs costing $324pa to run and $12 to purchase.total cost $330
led costs to run are $162 and to purchase $180 total $342

numbers are skewed on projected lifespan which are completely bogus…the electrical components inside the LEDs don\\\’t even last over 20,000 hours…you\\\’ve been sold a theoretical value and dream

I have switched and I\\\’ve also purchased about 5 extra lamps in a losing attempt to provide myself with the same amount of light I had before. The lumens ratings are laughably wrong.

The people who are dictating that we must phase out incandescent bulbs are the same people who are suppressing free energy.

there are cheaper and more efficient LEDs out already, this should really be updated.
