HEY NEW YORK INHABITAT READERS!

Ever wondered about how Inhabitat got started, or what we’re planning to do next?

If you want to learn more about the history of Inhabitat and founder Jill Fehrenbacher’s plan for world revolution through green design, you have a unique opportunity to see her speak at her alma mater Columbia University this coming Thursday, April 1, 2010 about a subject matter that is very near and dear to our hearts – Inhabitat and the future of green design! If you’re an avid Inhabitat reader and have ever wanted to know the back story of the site or ask Jill questions in person, this free lecture is the perfect opportunity to do so!

This free event, hosted by Green Builders at Columbia, will take place at 7pm at the Wood Auditorium in Avery Hall at 116th St. and Broadway in NYC. In addition to learning more about Inhabitat and green design online, there will also be a panel discussion with the jury of Project Greenway, an innovative sustainable design competition by Green Builders at Columbia featuring Phillip Anzalone, Alice Chun, Douglas Gauthier, Janette Kim and Geoff Manaugh of BLDG|BLOG. So if you’re in the NYC area on Thursday, we’d love it if you could join us for this exciting (and free) event!
