Hey New York Inhabitat Readers!

We’re excited to announce that tomorrow, April 1st, our very own founder Jill Fehrenbacher will be speaking at Columbia University about the creation of Inhabitat and the future of green design! If you’ve been reading Inhabitat for the past 5 years and are interested in finding out how it all began, then this free lecture is a fantastic chance to meet Jill, ask questions, and find out what Inhabitat has in store for the future!

This free event, hosted by Green Builders at Columbia, will take place at 7pm at the Wood Auditorium in Avery Hall at 116th St. and Broadway in NYC. In addition to learning more about Inhabitat and green design online, there will also be a panel discussion with the jury of Project Greenway, an innovative sustainable design competition by Green Builders at Columbia featuring Phillip Anzalone, Alice Chun, Douglas Gauthier, Janette Kim and Geoff Manaugh of BLDG|BLOG. So if you’re in the NYC area on Thursday, we’d love it if you could join us for this exciting (and free) event!
