It’s time for a little green MAGIC! Next week, Inhabitat will be reporting live from the first-ever ECOLLECTION fashion show in Las Vegas. Part of the larger international MAGIC show, ECOLLECTION is the most comprehensive collection of environmentally conscious apparel and lifestyle brands. With over 80 brands exhibiting their sustainable wears as part of ECOLLECTION and more than 60 showcasing their eco-lines throughout the show at-large, sustainable fashion has definitely hit the mainstream. Check back next week as Haily Zaki reports with the latest and greatest new designs and products.

We can’t wait to settle in to our new bamboo digs in Lounge 22′s sexy Luxe Lounge, Inhabitat’s home base at MAGIC for the next few days. Besides the daily runway shows, our friends at the Sustainable Style Foundation will be hosting Sustainable Strategy Salons throughout the show featuring panels of green experts. Among the litany of brands at ECOLLECTION, we look forward to seeing the newest chic confections from Ecoskin, the practical eco-workout lines from Restore Clothing, and the sleek recycled bottle-tab handbags from Brazil’s Escama Studio.

Industry heavy-hitters like American Apparel and Timberland will also be showcasing their latest eco-lines, and we’re also looking forward to seeing the latest in pure eco-fashions from brands like Sworn Virgins. The list goes on and on so check back next week to see the highlights!
