Inhabitat is currently seeking a high-energy, uber-organized, detail-oriented assistant to help with all the day-to-day details of running a small new media startup company. Operations Assistant will be responsible for managing the communications, editorial, advertising campaigns, business development, and human resources of Inhabitat. Previous experience not necessary, but applicants must be highly self-motivated, quick to adapt, have a keen eye for detail, and have excellent communication skills. Applicants must also be very web-savvy, familiar with the blogosphere and web 2.0 and have expertise in Microsoft Office software and Adobe graphic design / photo editing software. Great job for a talented recent graduate looking to get a foot in the door in an exciting startup.
Ad Sales Associate
We’re also looking for either a freelance or full-time ad sales professional who can expand our proactive sales outreach in the design / home / building categories. The ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing extrovert with a great personality and a roster of clients, who knows the design space well and understands the world of online publishing and ad-serving. We’re flexible as to freelance or full-time – just looking for a seasoned professional who can help us take our business to the next level.
