I just came across this page its amazing my sixteen year old daughter is really into the save the earth and animals she has her myspace full of animal rights and eco friendly places. keep up the great work i look forward to spending time reading and searching this site for lots of cool stuff

I’d love to win this one…I never win anything…lol. At any rate, I love this site….really informative. A friend and I were recently discussing a project we want to undertake (this is one of those possibly decade long projects). We’re going to GREENOVATE (thank you, Planet Green channel) his home, and we need more efficient ideas as to not only save on energy costs and utilize green technologies, but LEED certification would be nice. Please email me your ideas, as I’m sure I’ll find plenty on your site.

Not to be taken as a diatribe against inhabitat, as this open forum is much needed, but I do have a question: why do we have to entice people to come out of the woodworks with STUFF for a “green” contest? I find on my University campus this huge market for “green” that revolves around pointless STUFF and it’s a) just more waste and b) inspiring knee-jerk reactions from me; sorry if it’s misguided here.

But may I propose a contest as a social experiment to see who can design the most “green” prize that is willing to entice the general population?
