Reversible Theater

Carton Chic designs many cool cardboard play spaces for kids, but their dual Reversible Puppet Theater, made of recycled cardboard, is really neat. I mean, you can make a cardboard theater out of a used fridge box, but it won’t look this great.

Homemade Puppet Theater

You can make a homemade puppet theater for your child, even with your child’s help! This is a very thrifty and eco-friendly way to get your hands on a puppet theater, it’s just a bit more work. Collect some big boxes, stack them up and use a cutter to slice out a nice puppet stage. You can also hang a blanket or large silk between two chairs for children to sit behind or hang a blanket across the bottom of an open door. If you want a tabletop puppet stage, simply position a medium sized tri-fold display board on top of a small table. Gather recyclables around the house for the theater and puppets such as socks, small paper bags, cartons, cans or cardboard on a stick. You can paste a picture on for a puppet face, draw a face or use recycled components such as yarn, buttons, macaroni, feathers, dried beans, shells, felt circles and much more.
