Little Jack, shown above, is one lucky kid! Thanks to Jack’s crafty mama, Stephanie Pokorny, he’s all dressed up for Halloween as the most adorable little extraterrestrial we’ve seen. Pokorny’s “E.T.” costume, or as she likes to call it, “HUMANGURUMI” … Amigurumi + a Human,” was inspired by her love of the 80s and made in an amazingly quick four days. Incredibly, Pokorny made this E.T. costume without a pattern too! Pokorny’s grandmother taught her to crochet when she was a teen, and the years of practice have paid off as Pokorny now has a sweet site, Crochetverse, which is full of amazing crocheted costumes, patterns, tutorials and much more. While this little gem of a costume isn’t going to be produced for sales, Pokorny does offer plenty of awesome goodies and patterns on her Etsy site. See more of Pokorny’s work on Pinterest or watch her tutorials in action on YouTube.
