About 330 ducduc fixed-side cribs have been voluntarily recalled by the CPSC in conjunction with ducduc. While no injuries have yet been reported, ducduc has received reports of separated rails. If the bottom rails on the crib sides separate from the sides when the mattress is in the lowest position, it may cause the spindles to separate and the mattress to drop. This in turn, can pose fall and entrapment hazards for young children.

Description of recalled cribs: This recall includes ducduc fixed-side cribs with the model names and item codes ending in 2009, 2010 and 2011 shown above. The name”ducduc” and the item code can be found on a label located on the mattress panel. If you have one of these cribs you should stop using it immediately if the mattress is in the lowest position. You should then contact ducduc, if the company has not already contacted you, for a free repair kit which includes new crib sides. Until you get the repair kit, you should find an alternate, safe sleeping environment for your little one.
