We’ve seen plenty of contemporary rocking horses we’d love to put in the nursery, but Henry & Co Design really breaks the mold and adds a bit of quirkiness to the classic toy with their ergonomic rocking horse that’s made out of Canapalithos, a hemp biomass, combined with a new type of non-toxic and patented binder, called Pappa Reale. This haute horse is formaldehyde-free and comprised of nontoxic sustainable materials that are safe for kids and the environment. As an added plus, this rocking horse requires very little assembly and comes compact in puzzle-like pieces that require no glue or screws. Simply snap together and ride off into the sunset—or to the living room.

Feast your eyes on the Rocking Horse in person while it’s on display during Milan Design Week 2014 this April 8th – 13th from 10:00 – 19:00, at DIN-Design In, Via Massimiano 7, Milano.
