1. Gather the ingredients

  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • 1.7 ounces of dark chocolate (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 chili pepper

2. Heat up the milk

Heat the almond milk (here is how to make it from scratch) in a pan over low-medium heat until it starts bubbling.

3. Add the chocolate

Roughly chop the chocolate with your hands and add it to the milk. Stir.

4. Add the chili pepper

For extra heat add one or more slices of chili and let them sit as you do with a bay leaf. To avoid irritation you could grab a chili from the stem and cut it with a pair of scissors.

5. Add the cayenne pepper

Add a spoonful of cayenne pepper into the mix. At this point you could turn the heat off.

6. Stir some more and serve

Stir some more, until the chocolate completely melts and everything is one sweet and hot yummy drink. Garnish with cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut cream or even extra cayenne pepper on top, if you dare!
