What You Will Need:

– 1 organic pound cake
– 1 bag organic white chocolate chips
– organic food colorant in Valentine’s Day colors
– sprinkles for decoration

Step 1: Cut Out the Hearts

Cut the pound cake into 4 equal size hearts, (you can freehand it or use a cookie cutter) removing the brown outer crust.

Step 2: Frost the Hearts

Melt the bag of white chocolate chips in the microwave. Then cover each heart with the melted white chocolate chip “frosting.”

Step 3: Freeze and Trim the Hearts

Place the hearts in the freezer for a couple of minutes until firm. Once firm, remove from the freezer, trim off the excess outer chocolate with a knife.

Step 4: Decorate and Enjoy

Add fun Valentine’s Day sayings to the front of the hearts with melted white chocolate dyed red with food colorant. Add sprinkles to a plate, place a conversation heart cake on top and serve with ice cream.
