Two things our kids can never get enough of: LEGO and Disney movies. A collaboration between the toy giant and the multimedia entertainment force seems like a happily-ever-after match for both companies, with 18 minifigures as a result. The collection includes classics such as Mickey, Minnie, and Donald, and it also features Aladdin, Ariel, Alice in Wonderland,¬†and Stitch, with neat little accessories for several of the characters. The LEGO/Disney collaboration even includes beloved villains such as Ursula the sea witch, Maleficent, and Syndrome (from The Incredibles). Many of the new characters come in matched sets (such as Alice and the Cheshire Cat and Peter Pan and Captain Hook), and we’re pretty sure we’ll see the addition of more minifigures in the Disney collection soon: Buzz Lightyear needs his buddy Woody! Once again, we’re amused and impressed by the way that LEGO manages to add specialized details such as incorporating Genie’s unique shape and Syndrome’s gravity-defying hair into their designs. The LEGO minifigures will be released on May 1 and will cost $3.99 each.
